PHP Server Session

A session is a way to store information (in variables) to be used across multiple pages. Unlike a cookie, the information is not stored on the users computer.

session start, set session variables, echo session variables, unset session variables, kill session

session started

session array is created, variables set
Array ( [firstName] => Jamie [userID] => jamieD [acl] => 100 )
session variables set
session variable firstName is set to Jamie.
session variable userID is set to jamieD.
session variable acl is set to 100.

Session variable unset
session variable firstName is set to .
session variable userID is set to .
session variable acl is set to .
Array ( )

Session destroid
session variable firstName is set to .
session variable userID is set to .
session variable acl is set to .
Array ( )

Here is the php code I used to create a server session, load session variables, output session variables to the page, and kill the session.

php session.
